We love making music, and it means a lot to us when people are into it. We all have busy lives outside of the band, so promoting colour out space in a conventional manner, which requires a lot of time, doesn't really work for us.
We’ve seen first-hand how powerful viral marketing can be: Silence in Space (from circlesend, our 1st album) was single of the week on iTunes UK & Europe over three years ago. 25,000 people downloaded it that week, and circlesend is still riding on the momentum generated (in part) by that. We hope that we can do something similar with our 2nd album, so please download it &, if you like it, spread the word.
We hope you’ll see this as a “try before you buy” kind of scheme. You’re under no obligation to part with any cash, but if you like our record enough to support us in making the next one please feel free to come back and order a cd, which sounds much better than mp3 for a start. We’ve made it cheap as chips (£8 for Colour out Space, £15 for both our albums). Or you can make a donation if you're feeling generous.
